Just a few more pages from my parks, gardens and yards sketchbook.

Above inspired by flowers in the Winter Garden, and done whilst listening to Chopin.

Yard nearby of an empty house, altered slightly with crayon.
Photo of yards from street, with notes and diagram of typical ‘back yards’ in Sheffield.

I really like the yard and garden theme for your sketchbook, and how you’ve included notes, diagrams, photos and sketches…your “winter flowers” are lovely.

oh those back yards remind me of visiting my nanna when I was small – she lived in Newcastle – those yards are so indicative of the north for me
Love “dance” – really works for me – tis good to see these on your blog .

I love your “dance” flower, so full of life and lovely loose lines. Also the photo of the yard with the washing line is so appealing, and looks just like the yards around here.
